Happy Turkey Day to all our readers!

.. if there are any today. A front came through last night and the temperature dropped 20 degrees, so today it's cool (50's), clear and just beautiful. We have a houseful for our Thanksgiving meal, with friends coming later for dessert.

Yesterday I managed a quick ride down to the local bird sanctuary. Not much happening but I saw a and a blue jay. Call it 2 miles.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I think it is awesome you are so dedicated to this cause and can raise so much money! I think I would probably die if I tried to ride as far as you are able to. I enjoy reading your blog!

Hi Lindsey -

we had a great time at Thanksgiving, and hope you did too. Thanks very much for helping James get out of West Lafayette!

BTW, we all love your screen name.

This isn't quite right but it's close. 9.5 miles, about 40 minutes.

45 miles through very pretty Texas countryside. Looks benign but there's a very hilly section at mile 35.
